A healthy version of the southern classic loaded with shredded chicken and essential nutrients.

Ingredients

16 oz Chicken Thigh, Skin Removed Before Cooking

16 oz Ham, Slice without Bone, Cured, No Visible Fat Eaten

2 medium Sweet Potato, Raw

1 Small Onion, White, Yellow or Red, Raw

8 Cups Bone Broth, Chicken

1 Medium Tomato Raw

1 tbsp Black Pepper

1 tbsp Sea Salt

1 clove Garlic, Fresh

Directions

1Place onion, sweet potato, and garlic in the bottom of a 4-to 6-quart slow cooker. Rub salt and pepper over chicken thighs. Place chicken and ham over vegetables. Add tomatoes and broth. Cover and cook on Low 6 hours. Shred chicken with 2 forks before serving.
